Chief Executive Officer

The founder of First Class Entertainment and rising business mogul Darius Gregory A.K.A Don Diamond is a man of integrity, with a notion of morality, and that’s' what separates’ him from his competitors. Mr. Gregory has a baccalaureate degree in Economics and a second baccalaureate degree in Sport Fitness and Leisure Studies. Mr. Gregory is currently pursuing a M.Ed. in Higher Education in Student Affairs and hopes to further his learning and become an impactful practitioner in the field of Higher Education. Mr. Gregory is presently employed at Salem State University as an Assistant Coordinator of Student Development. In his roll as assistant coordinator, he makes sure students make an easy transition from High School to College. Since his graduation he made his longtime dream a reality by working in the field of Higher Education.

In June, of 2007 he incorporated First Class Entertainment and decided to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia to tap into the entertainment industry. After spending nine months in Atlanta he decided to move back to Massachusetts and instill the notions that he learned down south in Boston. This is a true story of someone who learned the entertainment business from the bottom up, once working as a bar back then working as a doorman. Mr. Gregory has seen the inner workings of some of the most respected and sought after establishments in Boston and abroad.

In October, of 2008 Darius met a young man by the name of Derek Brisson who made Darius aware of the overwhelming demand for under 21 events in Boston. At first Darius was skeptical of the idea of entertaining underage youths, but with the diligence from Derek, he decided to give it a chance. Paparazzi at Club Roxy was a success, they generated over 52,000 in revenue and have been an unstoppable duo ever since. Mr. Gregory now has surrounded his organization with the right contacts and individuals that have the desire to be unsurpassed, professional and innovative.

On January 17th, 2011 First Class Entertainment hosted their final under 21 dance party. First Class Entertainment was fortunate enough to be able to cultivate a young network of underage youths that have displayed a unique interest in attending concerts. Darius has made the decision to crossover into planning and hosting mainstream concerts in the Boston Metro area. Since Darius and Derek have united Mr. Gregory can now say that he has fulfilled the mission of FCE. First Class Entertainment now caters to a wide range demographic throughout New England. Boston will realize that First Class Entertainment will be a force to be reckoned with.

Event Coordinator

Wayland resident, Derek Brisson a.k.a. “Deeks”, 18, has always had a passion for the entertainment industry. He started working for Northern Lights Entertainment; a Massachusetts based, full service DJing Company at 15, and then branched out two years later to hosting club events in Boston. With the mind of a true entrepreneur, Derek at only 18 has tapped into the nightlife industry. He was a big asset to the team who hosted “Throwdown ‘08”, one of the largest under 21 events in Boston to date. Throwdown generated $28,633 in revenue, all of which was donated to the Genocide Intervention Network.

In October of 2008, Derek teamed up with Darius Gregory, creating an unstoppable duo that will leave people waiting anxiously for every event. Derek thought that with the help of an up and coming event planning company, the possibilities of his events would be endless, and First Class Entertainment was the perfect option. With skill sets such as event planning, DJing, MCing, promoting and more, Derek hopes to build a career in the nightlife/entertainment industries; eventually, opening his own club in Boston or New York City.
